根据 BGR 的报道，三星和康宁将成立一个新的合资公司。该公司将结合三星的 OLED 显示屏技术和康宁的高强度 Lotus 玻璃基板，生产可用于移动设备和电视的新型显示屏等。公司建在韩国，其产品将提供给三星及其它韩国制造商。康宁玻璃的 CEO Wendell P. Weeks 说，两家公司有 40 多年的合作历史。

           我们的合作有着牢固的基础，康宁拥有开发高科技玻璃的能力，产品所具备的关键属性可以驱动三星的下一代显示屏。
